I’m just scared I won’t find someone who will love my daughter as much as I love her.

The father to my unborn child is an idiot. He kept cheating and wouldn’t man up and take responsibility for what had happened. I left him months ago. I’m now with the most amazing man ever. He treats me with respect. He already loves my daughter. I’m extremely happy for the first time. I thought that once I broke up with my ex, I would be a single mother forever (which, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. There are SO many capable single moms.) but I felt lonely. My depression hit me hard and I was so stressed out which isn’t good for a baby. I never expected to find this guy. It was never planned. It just happened. I’ve never been happier.

I, too, am not with my baby’s biological father. There’s no point in going on about the mistakes he made and the type of person he is. I reblogged this because when I was 5 months pregnant my mother introduced me to the man who is now my fiancee. At the time, I told her she was crazy. After he took me out to dinner and we continued to talk we realized we have SO much in common and he was completely fine about accepting my daughter. He has now signed her Birth Certificate and is legally her father. We are engaged to be married at an undecided date, but the three of us are blissfully happy!
